Thank You Shawn :)

And the website is now LIVE

Faerie Nursery

Shawn has managed to bring my website to life :)

We now have a story by Meagan about the history of the Enchanted Pathways Faerie Nursery; a biography of me by Chris; the contact page and and and....

All of the faeries that I currently have made are now listed.

You can find Flower Petal Faeries, Teacup Nurseries, The Faerie Suites and the Flower Seed Pod Babies. These all link back to my Etsy store front where they are available to be purchased.

Also, we have added in all of the Faeries that the visitors to the nursery have made, faeries that have flown the coop and gone off to new homes and adventures along with faeries that I have donated to local community events. These pictures all link back to Flickr where you can read more about them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Shawn for all of his dedication, hard work and the master of 'code'.

Where has the time gone?

It seems like forever since I have sat down to write a new blog posting!!

I have now posted all of my products on Etsy. Wow, what an ordeal that has been. Between deciding how to do the photos, to pricing, to shipping, to descriptions, to, to, to, to.....it never seemed like it would end.

But success :)  Everything is posted, well everything that I have made in stock is posted. Figured if I put everything up, it would give me that inspirational boost to get my butt in gear to get more made.

Before I forget, a massive THANK YOU shout goes out to me Mom and my sister Deb for getting me all of the teacups they have so far. Sometimes living in a remote area has its downfalls and unfortunately, shopping is a major one!

Alyssa has submitted the ad campaign to the 'Faerie Magazine' for it's fall printing. I am so proud of the work she has done :) Once the magazine is out, I will scan a shot of the page and post here for you to see.

New product and inventory are arriving daily. My poor husband thinks that Canada Post has even forgotten what his name is....well except he does get the bills in the mail, so technically he is still receiving mail :) Thank goodness he is a good sport about it all and not only does he carry everything in the house for me, but he helps me open it too!!

My display units have also been arriving in the mail. I now has 5 glass pedestals containers to show off the Teacup Nurseries. I can't wait to get these assembled as I will have two of them here in town and the other three will be scattered across Alberta.

The new rubber stamps with the logo look fantastic. Just waiting now for the branding iron so we can burn the logo onto the backs of the wooden doors and the bottom of the trinket chests.

Again....thank you to Alyssa for taking a concept and turning it into my logo.

Castles and Swans!

Just a quick little peek at some of the wonderful items that have been arriving daily here at the nursery.

I ordered these little castles directly from England (they seem to have the coolest miniatures). Now I know these are meant for painting but the whitewash on them is just amazing so they will be staying just so. I do know that some of my co-workers at my 'day' job want to paint all of the windows sparkly...but maybe another time lol.

Swans!! Can you believe how tiny these swans are? And yet, each one unique! I have ordered some of that railway model building water but alas it still has not arrived. I can't wait to see a Teacup Nursery with a castle, a moat and a swan swimming happily.

Flowers, I have been ordering more and more of these little paper flowers (I do believe they are called Mulberry flowers) as I am having a hard time matching my current products to the colours on the teacups. As each set is only really pennies, I figured I could afford to splurge.
