Happy Birthday :)

Happy Birthday to the Flower God and all of the Flowers.

The Faeries all gathered together today to celebrate such a wonderful occasion. They made a cupcake and even got a wee little rose bush that they will look after in the nursery until it can be put outside in the garden.

It was such a wonderful day of smiles, laughter and singing. You can view the whole photo album on our Facebook page

Faeries and Elementals ~ FAE

Have you checked out the tab titled FAE yet?? This page is being dedicated to all humans to help educate and learn more about the mystery behind the World of Fae.

Still under construction, well I guess it always will be with new elementals being found all the time. If you happen to have been fortunate enough to have met a creature from Fae, please write in and let us know. We would love to hear from you and we will add your information to the database.

It's Cold Outside!!

Even though the nursery is located above the 60th parallel and the faeries are used to our cold winters...when I woke up this morning and checked the thermometer's temperature outside, it registered -38.9 C (and F when it gets that cold!). Well, I rushed down to the nursery to make sure the faeries were okay...and this is what I found!!

It seemed that the faeries took everything into their own hands...Pixie Bess, Grace and Ivy along with Sprite Enwedhan were all busy knitting away making scarves for the other faeries.
Hot apple juice was already brewing on the stove top with Mouse the Ashray Faerie, Ros of the Moss People, Faerie Cabela and Faerie Mia standing by with the cinnamon sticks.
Even the  youngest of the Clay Potters were making sure that everyone would stay warm. Here are Sprite SugarPlum, Pixie Tilly and Ella the Sprite watching over newly baked chocolate chip cookies.
I couldn't quite figure out where everyone else had gone to as I know for a fact that in this type of weather I would not have left a window open. But after a bit of thinking....I know I had to go out and fill the bird feeders this morning so the wee little birds could eat. Without a blink out the door they must have went. Here are Faerie Nettle, Fae Bella, Nipper the Clurichaun, Benny the Sprite, Missy May of the Moss People and Pixie Heather out in the cold all sporting the new scarves that had been made during the night.

And finally, out trying to catch the suns rays, I found Sapphire the Pixie, Pixie Sunburst and Pixie Jinx.

Faerie Introduction...

As this is a VERY northern faerie nursery, located just above the 60th parallel...a new line of faeries are being introduced.

Living in the land of the Midnight Sun and then having the most amazing Aurora Borealis (northern lights) ever....the inspiration of having faeries that represented these two awe astounding wonders of nature that only happen in either the northern or southern hemispheres was just bound to happen.

Soooooo without further adieu coming soon to my website, I would like to introduce to you.....

The Aurora & Midnight Sun Faeries

These faeries stand approximately 5.5" in height and their ballerina styled dresses can measure anywhere from 4-5" in width. The dresses resemble both the Midnight Sun and the Aurora Borealis in nature. Each faerie comes standing on a hickory slice that has been branded with the company icon, titled and has been numbered for collecting purposes. No two faeries will look alike as they are each made from hand here in the faerie nursery. They will come with their own numbered papers and will be packaged carefully from the nursery to your home. Please join me in welcoming these new faeries to the nursery.

A Sneak Peek

I have been busy designing and creating a brand new line for the faerie nursery. As everything is still in the early development stages I can't tell you much...but I just had to show you a quick look at what I have done so far...

But remember...shhhhhhhhhh this line is still under construction :)

Cafe Press Store - now open!

Well I love my icon so much that Alyssa designed for me that I thought I would like to share it with the world! So I have now opened a shop with Cafe Press where you can go and purchase selected items of your choice that have the icon imprinted on it. I will be adding future logos soon that will include the icon along with the company name.

I have ordered aprons for the ladies and I for the upcoming local 2013 Fort Smith Trade Show as we will be sparkled from one end to the other playing with the sparkle tattoos. I also purchased a little white teddy bear that is wearing a t-shirt that has the icon on it. I can't wait to see it :)

I have had a link placed here on the blog (see right hand side of this page -- Merchandise button) and one on the website as well.

Drop on by and see if there is anything you like or if there is something that you would like to see added.

Out in the Sunshine

It seems that the Clay Potter Faeries have decided that they have been cooped up too long indoors. Even though it is still very cold and the air is crisp, the sun was out and shining so I decided to leave the door ajar just a bit to see who wanted to venture outside.

The first one I seen fly out was Nettle, she was all excited to sit in the tree branches. And what a great spot she found too...right beside the large bird feeder. I don't think she really thought that idea through all the way as I found her having to bat away some of our more aggressive Boreal Chickadees more than once, mind you she was sitting awfully close to them. I am sure she will have tons of stories to tell the faeries during afternoon tea.

Joining her in the sunshine today were Benny, Grace, Jinx, Tilly and Ivy. I think they all had a great time. When I last checked on them though, they were all huddled in by the wood burning stove trying to warm up. I think that I will leave out a few extra cookies and make sure that the tea pot is full all the way to the brim so they can tell the other Clay Potters all about their time out in the sunshine.
