it's like having your own library, a library lined with shelves upon shelves filled with your memories.

it's like having your own poem, poems that when glued together become a treasury of sort, a treasury filled with your hopes.

it's like having pretty lined paper that can only be found in the diary hidden under your pillow, a diary filled with your dreams.

with Etsy the protocol when featured in a Treasury is to ('heart') like all of the other artist's photos that they have collected but this process, well it almost feels like it is only a formality of politeness.

but how can you combat the rules, the contract, the obligation? well i Blog, i Twitter, i Google +, i Pinterest, i Facebook, i Website it (i'm pretty sure that i do more but well those are the ones that i can see on my saved tabs above).

The Expedition of a Faerie Prince!

It is always such a privilege when I find out that one of my wee faeries has been picked for an Etsy Treasury.

I was sent an email yesterday informing me that Faerie Prince Cameron has made the front page! Such exciting news for such a wee little guy.

This is his story...

Faerie Prince Cameron is somewhat of a mystery here in the nursery. he showed up on a clear and sunny day this winter, which really isn't a strange occurrence but it is when he had brought with him that leaves us all wondering how on earth he found this far-away northern nursery. In his acorn basket, Prince Cameron is carrying an Amber Drop Cone which after doing our homework, we found out comes from the Pacific Northwest of the United States? He has flown a long long long way to arrive here in our nursery.

He is sporting a soft silver coloured body with a rich olive green coloured cotton floss. Matching silvery translucent wings, an acorn cap and basket made from an acorn top with an amber drop cone nestled inside.

I would like to thank Annafaerie for her Treasury of True Fairy #940. Interesting gifts for different occasions. 

An Instant Connection?

It is always and amazing feeling when someone has gone through hundreds of pages and though thousands of listings...and here they stumble onto not one but two of your wee faerie items and picked them to be shared through a treasury of theirs!

On top of all of that....I have read her Handmade Artists profile and you know what....except for me not knowing what Downtown Abbey is...and that I have unfortunately never been to a Renaissance Faire before but have a dreamed of going to one, well for most of my life...I feel that we could just sit down for hours and well take about everything we have in common. And trust me it would take more than not just one cup of tea...but possibly even a few pots!!
